Topor group is the private office that coordinates the Topor network of companies and activities on behalf of the family. Topor group activities span from global public market investments, private equity to venture capital.

The group was formed by Mr.  Yacov Topor, an entrepreneur, technologist, and author. Yacov has founded Integrated Electronic Industries (I.E.I) in 1973, which would become one of the leading UPS developers in Israel.

 

Through the years I.E.I established Treasure Ventures, a technology incubator under which Mr. Topor has developed globally numerous renowned global patents, including the invention of the Hibernation mechanism which was included almost in every PC, Laptop and Windows operating system since 2000. 

 

Shutting down the computer via Hibernation at end of the workday saves the planet 14.4 million tons of CO2 from being pumped into the atmosphere as a result of energy-saving.

 

Yacov is also the author of 12 books and lives in Tel Aviv, Israel.
